Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs procedures or exceptional events.

7. Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable EU consumer law, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 15 days from the day on which they receive the goods, without providing a reason.
MEA CULPA voluntarily extends this period to 15 days.
This means that you may request a return within 15 days from the date of delivery.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at hello@meaculpaswimwear.com with your order number and clearly state that you wish to return the product.
After notifying us, the product must be returned within the applicable period specified in our Shipping & Returns policy.
8. Return Conditions
Returned items must be:
- unworn and unused;
- in their original condition;
- free from stains, makeup, perfume, deodorant or other marks;
- returned with all original tags attached, where applicable;
- accompanied by the original hygienic protection where applicable.
For swimwear, we strongly recommend trying the product over underwear.
Consumers may inspect or try on goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in a manner comparable to what would normally be permitted in a physical shop. If the product is handled beyond what is necessary, the consumer may be responsible for any resulting reduction in value.
Where a hygiene seal or protective element has been specifically applied to a product and its removal makes the product unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply after that seal has been removed, where permitted by applicable law.
9. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the product is defective, damaged or not as described, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.
Any original standard delivery cost paid by the customer will be reimbursed in accordance with applicable consumer law. If the customer selected a more expensive delivery option, MEA CULPA is not required to reimburse the additional amount above the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
10. Refunds
Once a valid withdrawal has been received, MEA CULPA will process the refund without undue delay and, in any event, within the period required by applicable law.
The refund may be withheld until we have received the returned goods or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
11. Faulty or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us at hello@meaculpaswimwear.com as soon as possible.
Consumers retain all mandatory statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods. These rights are not affected by our voluntary return policy. EU consumer law provides a minimum legal guarantee framework for goods purchased from a professional seller.
